Early Life and Education: Born on July 27, 1960, in Nguru, Yobe State, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha was raised under a strict Islamic upbringing.

He excelled academically, serving as Class Monitor and Prefect during his schooling at Hausari Primary School and Government Secondary School, Nguru.Military Career: Major Al-Mustapha joined the Nigerian Defence Academy in 1980, graduating as Sports Captain and Junior Under Officer.

Known for his bravery and leadership, he held various appointments in military intelligence and security across Nigeria, including roles at the Presidency and in international operations.

Career Achievements: As Chief Security Officer to General Sani Abacha, Major Al-Mustapha contributed significantly to national stability and development. Notably, he initiated the Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF), leading to unprecedented infrastructural development across Nigeria.

His influence extended to the creation of new states, grassroots democratic movements, and the fostering of peace initiatives in conflict-prone regions.

Born 12th June 1976. He attended Alafia Institute, Orogun, Ibadan for his nursery and primary school education. Thereafter proceeded to Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School, Maryland, Lagos for his secondary school education.

He gained admission into the University of Ibadan where he satisfied the requirements for an LL.B Degree.

He attended the Nigeria Law School where he qualified to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2004.

He cut his teeth as a legal practitioner during his NYSC, year in 2004 at the Rivers State
Ministry of Justice.

He used the opportunity to prove himself by preparing advice on civil and criminal matters. He did not stop there but immediately dove into the courtroom where he argued several cases of high importance for the state.

Upon completion of his NYSC in September 2005, he joined the law firm of OLUJINMI & AKEREDOLU.

His first responsibility was to set up the Abuja office of the firm in 2005. He successfully delivered the firm in January 2006. The branch grew from just 2 lawyers in 2006 to 26 lawyers presently.

He was elevated to the highly coveted rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in 2023.
